At ABI, we deeply value our rich history and are committed to honoring it by strategically positioning our institution for the future. We are excited to announce three significant collaborations that will enhance our academic offerings and ministry training.
Collaboration One: Accredited Degrees Through Urshan University
We are thrilled to be pursuing a bridge agreement with Urshan University, allowing students at ABI to graduate with an accredited degree while being immersed in biblical studies and hands-on ministry training. This partnership will allow students at ABI to take Urshan courses on the ABI campus and graduate with an ABI degree in Theology and an accredited bachelor’s degree through Urshan.
ABI degree in Theology will have focuses in the following areas:
- Christian Ministry
- Music Ministry
- Church Revitalization
Collaboration Two: Church Revitalization Focus with Ken Gurley
Starting in Fall 2026, we will launch a five-course focus on Church Revitalization, developed in partnership with Ken Gurley. This specialized training will be available as:
A focus area within our academic programs.
A certificate program for those seeking continuing education in church revitalization.
Collaboration Three: Online Courses at ABI
Beginning this fall, ABI will offer online courses for both first- and second-year students. These courses will:
Accommodate full-time and part-time students.
Allow students to work at their own pace while completing a robust ministry training program.
This expansion also sets the stage for making the Church Revitalization certificate available to those currently serving in ministry.
What This Means for You
ABI is moving toward offering degrees with specialized focuses in:
- Church Revitalization
- Christian Minstry
- Music Ministry
Additionally, Church Revitalization tracks will be available as certificate programs, perfect for those who already hold a degree or other educational background but want focused ministry training. Best of all, these programs will be accessible both on campus and online.
We are grateful for our history, mindful of our present, and passionate about investing in the future. Our mission remains clear: to equip and empower the next generation of Apostolic preachers, teachers, and church leaders to carry the torch forward.
